SERDANG, 22 May 2025 – Akademi Sukan recently completed its internal audit for the Quality Management System (QMS) MS ISO 9001:2015, demonstrating its continued commitment to excellence. The audit, which took place from 21 to 22 May 2025, was led by Mr. Saiful Anuar A. Rahman from the Faculty of Agriculture, with support from six additional auditors.

The audit covered seven key areas critical to the academy’s operations and service delivery. These areas included:

1. Strategic collaboration management with industry and community stakeholders.
2. Knowledge and technology transfer management through industry and community networks.
3. Management of income-generating activities via grants and collaborations with industry and community partners.
4. Athlete and staff development activities management.
5. Sports management, which involves students, staff, external agencies, and the public in areas like facilities, equipment, and tournament preparation.
6. Research activities.
7. Support operations that assist the overall functioning of the Sports Academy.

The internal audit plays a vital role in ensuring that the academy’s work processes remain focused on enhancing quality and efficiency. It also serves to verify that the QMS is properly implemented, monitored, and aligned with strategic objectives.

By conducting this audit, Akademi Sukan reaffirms its dedication to continuous improvement and to delivering services that meet the highest standards. It also highlights that the systems in place are under effective control and that decision-making processes are being carried out efficiently and responsibly.

This audit is part of Akademi Sukan's ongoing efforts to maintain its certification and demonstrate the effectiveness of its management systems to both internal and external stakeholders.
