SERDANG, 22 May 2025 – The Sports Academy has conducted an Internal Audit of the Quality Management System (QMS) MS ISO 9001:2015 on 22 April 2026 to ensure that service quality standards continue to be enhanced.
The audit was led by Mr. Mat Razi Abdullah from the Faculty of Forestry and Environment, assisted by six other auditors representing various Responsibility Centres (PTJ) within the university.
The audit covered seven key components, including the management of strategic collaborations with industry and the community, knowledge and technology transfer activities, income generation through grants and collaborations, athlete and staff development, sports management involving multiple stakeholders, research activities, and the Sports Academy’s support operations.
This internal audit serves as an important mechanism to ensure that all work processes are implemented systematically, efficiently, and effectively in accordance with the requirements of MS ISO 9001:2015.
Through this audit, the Sports Academy is able to ensure that its quality management system is continuously monitored and improved, while strengthening the organisation’s capacity to make more accurate decisions.
The audit findings also demonstrate that the services provided by the Sports Academy are well-controlled and meet established standards, thereby enhancing stakeholders’ confidence in the organisation’s management efficiency.
